Who We Are
Dr. Faisal Mawri
Dr. Faisal Mawri is a pediatric emergency medical doctor, with a focus on treating the individual and families holistically. In 2013, he started the first of three pediatric and children urgent care clinics in Grand Blanc, and grew to add two others in Davison and Flint. Everyday Dr. Mawri saw parents bringing their children in for treatments, but were often forgetting to take care of themselves. He knew he wanted to help and provide wellness options for parents.
As a result, in 2021, he opened three IV hydration clinics called Nectar MD in Davison, Rochester, and Troy. This was his first step into the health and wellness space. These clinics were a way to provide his patients with alternative options to traditional healthcare and still deliver reliable and fast results that they could trust.
In 2023, to continue with the wellness trend, Dr. Mawri opened Cosmetic and Laser Center of Michigan as a way to give his patients another avenue to address their health concerns. Cosmetic and Laser Center takes the health and wellness treatments a step beyond the IV clinics by focusing more on the aesthetics services. In addition to the standard aesthetic offerings of injectables and facials, Dr. Mawri’s team focuses on body contouring services, skin resurfacing procedures and full treatment plans specifically designed for each patient to help them achieve their desired outcome.
Dr. Mawri has always had a passion for giving patients the best treatment possible. That means working together, devising a plan, and focusing on health as a team. This is why he has been so successful with his practices and why his patients come back to see him time and time again!
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mawri is a Clinical Assistant Professor at several nearby hospitals including, Department of Pediatrics & Human Development, Michigan State University; Hurley Medical Center; McLaren Health Care; and Genesys Health System.
Dr. Mawri did his postdoctoral training at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine (pediatric internship) and Michigan State University where he was the Chief Pediatric Resident. Additionally, he attended the University of Michigan Medical School where he was a Pediatric Emergency Medical Fellow.
Early in his career, Dr. Mawri focused his research on understanding the emotional trauma brought on by head injuries in children and educating parents on ways to prevent those injuries. Through that research, Dr. Mawri published several medical papers, received multiple grants, and was recognized with three awards for his work.
Jordan Huckabay
Registered Nurse Injector
Jordan has been a Registered Nurse since 2018, with a background in critical care, dermatology and medical aesthetics. She has extensive experience injecting the full face with a variety of fillers and neurotoxins including, Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Galderma, Juvederm and more. During her tenure as an injector, Jordan has helped address hundreds of patients’ skin concerns and goals.
Her favorite thing about working in the industry is helping her patients feel even more confident and rejuvenated in their own skin. Her goal is to enhance your natural beauty.
In her free time, Jordan likes working out and is an outdoor enthusiast. She currently lives in Flushing with her family and two dogs!
Silvia Hanna
Registered Nurse Injector
In 2015, Silvia became a Registered Nurse. In addition to her role as an aesthetics injector, Silvia has worked in the hospital as a bedside nurse and infusion nurse at IV Nectar MD. Silvia has completed several training programs to perfect her craft and love of neurotoxins and fillers.
While she loves injecting the whole face, Silvia’s favorite place to inject are the cheeks because she believes it’s the most transformative area to treat for most patients. If you need a face pick-me-up, Silvia is here to help.
In her spare time, Silvia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, going on walks, trying new places for dinner, and going to church. She also loves working out and promoting health and wellness!
Calli McCaig
Medical Esthetician
With over 6 years of healthcare experience and seeing the importance of self-care, Calli decided to get her Esthetician’s license in 2022. Whether you are looking for product or service recommendations, she is ready to help you achieve your goals!
Calli’s favorite service is anything facial related with dermaplaning being a close second. Her goal at Cosmetic and Laser Center of Michigan is to make her clients feel beautiful and confident from the inside out!
In her spare time, Calli enjoys spending time with her kitten, Juice. She loves to workout and most of all spend quality time with her family and friends.
